Bobbie Alley Clement
During her afternoon seminar, Bobbie Clement will speak on achieving balance and wholeness. |
Bobbie Clement is a recently retired registered nurse, director of education, and credentialed teacher. Her diverse 42-year career has contributed to her knowledge and experience of the physical, emotional and spiritual issues that face us all. As an educator, she has encouraged and motivated adults and youth to realize their highest potential. As a nurse she is aware of the impact of the mind on the body in health and disease. She was Spiritual Director of the Southern California Singles in Action group for five years in the early 80's; during that time she presented numerous seminars that supported singles in the process of healing and spiritual growth.
Bobbies' personal goal has always been to integrate her "life lessons" in to an inclusive spiritual whole. She believes that a woman or man of spirit should deny nothing in their experience, but learn from it all. This, of course, is a journey of a lifetime.
Bobbie will speak more about this process of integration at the Women of Spirit Seminar on April 21, 2007. She will use the biblical story of Mary and Martha to illustrate the two aspects of a persons' psyche. She will show how important the blending of heart and mind is for an effectual relationship with God, the world, ourselves, and each other.
Bobbie has been married for seventeen years and lives with her husband Larry in beautiful Laguna Beach, California. She has three lovely daughters, two granddaughters and a grandson. Her hobbies include watercolor painting, reading, and travel. She is writing an autobiographical essay of her life. She is finally realizing her dream of balance and wholeness.
